Inclusive Health Systems: Key to PPR, UHC and TB response

Friends of the Global Fund, Japan, Friends of the Global Fight (US), and Friends of the Global Fund Europe will co-host a two-hour public discussion in New York on the sidelines of the three UNGA High-Level Meetings on PPR, UHC, and Tuberculosis. The high-level discussion will discuss the importance of people-centered and inclusive health systems as the common foundation for accelerating progress in each of these three areas towards SDG2030. In particular, the discussion will illustrate how the fight against AIDS, TB and Malaria can contribute to strengthening health systems, thereby promoting PPR and advance UHC. In addition to speakers from the United States, Japan, and Europe, the discussion will feature keynote speakers and perspectives of key aid-receiving countries. Simultaneous interpretation in English, Japanese, French and German will be provided.
