This session will provide examples of innovative strategies that have been used to tailor and strengthen mass drug administration (MDA) in urban contexts for the control and elimination of neglected tropical diseases. A group of diverse speakers will highlight the latest implementation experience on promising practices and approaches that can be applied to varied urban contexts. Session participants will help specify and prioritize operational research gaps for urban MDA.
