Tiny Fighters, Big Battles: Newborns & Growing Antimicrobial Resistance

May 28 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Drug-resistant infections are a leading cause of death around the world, with the highest burdens in low-resource settings.

Join Jhpiego and leading global health experts at a World Health Assembly Side Event to hear more about how antibiotic resistance is undermining modern medicine, impacting our most vulnerable population: newborn children.

We’ll share emerging research insights and key recommendations to move forward leading up to the Antimicrobial Resistance High-Level Meeting (AMR HLM) at the U.N. General Assembly (UNGA) in September.

Continental breakfast and networking will be part of the program. More details will be shared in the coming weeks.
