Pathway to UHC2030: scaling integrated person-centered care in the HIV response and beyond
February 28, 2024
RSVP
While the world has committed to ensuring all people have the right to the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health without incurring financial hardship, we are critically far from achieving the 2030 universal health coverage goal. We must advance inclusive and resilient health systems that ensure responsive health care for all. Integrated person-centered care (IPCC) has emerged as a mechanism within the global HIV response to deliver accessible, comprehensive, and coordinated HIV and wrap-around health services aligned with individual needs, preferences, and values. Join Friends of the Global Fight, PATH, and JSI as we share insights from our recent report on how the HIV service platform has used IPCC to enhance accessibility and uptake of continued engagement in care across diverse populations and contexts. We will also hear from governments, funders, normative agencies, implementers, and communities on actions we can take now to expand people-centered health care platforms that facilitate health and well-being for all. Hosts: Jessica Posner, JSI Kimberly Green, PATH Chris Collins, Friends of the Global Fight
