This event, hosted by Devex in partnership with Medtronic LABS on the occasion of the 76th World Health Assembly in Geneva, will discuss what’s needed to break down barriers to digital health systems on the African continent, as well as the role of community-based health solutions as a driver for better patient outcomes and targeted care.

The COVID-19 pandemic fast-tracked digital health innovation as lockdowns pushed services online. While myriad solutions exist, many of them fail to reach scale and achieve measurable results for patients.

When integrated into local health systems, digital health solutions can help strengthen and extend health systems into local communities — and ultimately produce better health outcomes for patients.
