Congenital Conditions and Universal Health: A Global Dialogue

Often the needs of children born with congenital conditions requiring specialty healthcare aren’t considered in the design of essential benefits for universal health coverage programs. The United Nations High Level Meeting on Universal Health Coverage is an important opportunity to advocate for progress in achieving health for all.

Join us for a panel discussion sponsored by the Malaysian Ministry of Health highlighting the stories and perspectives of patient advocates. We’ll discuss what resources are needed to serve children born with congenital conditions in need of surgical intervention around the globe and how you can advocate with policymakers during the UN General Assembly.
