Please join us during the 78th United Nations General Assembly for “Advocacy to Impact Health Disparities,” a conversation about the central role of civil society advocacy in addressing health disparities. This hour-long, in-person event will also be livestreamed to accommodate attendees from around the world.
Country-level advocacy is key to overcoming health disparities and achieving health equity—making it essential to the realization of Universal Health Coverage. It is about who participates, who is reached, and who is accountable. Country-level advocacy is essential to ensuring that:
- The people most impacted by health disparities and reached and served.
- Essential voices, including those most impacted, have a seat at the table.
- Urgent public health policies get prioritized and financed, and governments are held accountable for getting it to the right place.
