Addressing Severe Childhood NCDs in the Poorest Billion: Experiences from PEN-Plus

IPA Executive Director Aman Pulungan will give the introduction, and speakers will include: Dr. Neil Gupta, senior director of policy for the NCDI Poverty Network; Dr. Isaac Ssinabulya, co-chair, Uganda NCDI Lancet Commission; Dr. Edna Majaliwa, pediatric endocrinologist at Muhimbili National Hospital in Tanzania; Dr. Usman Sanni of Sierra Leone; and Raoul Bermejo III, health specialist at UNICEF.

The speakers will discuss experiences from supporting and implementing the PEN-Plus model of integrated care for severe, chronic noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) for children and young adults in lower-income countries. The webinar will be conducted in English, with closed-caption translation available via Zoom.
