Maternal, Newborn and Child Health Working Group

This members-only Working Group brings together many of the most influential non-profit organizations working in the areas of maternal, newborn, and child health. Members focus on raising awareness and increasing U.S. commitment to improving the survival and health of mothers and children under five in low-and middle-income countries.

  • Advocating for policies that protect women, newborns, children, families and communities
  • Building vocal champions to push for sustained/increased funding
  • Advocacy around the FY 2024 and 2025 Budget and Appropriations process, in particular:
    • Increased bilateral maternal and child health funding
    • Nutrition funding
