IMPACT 2 expands access to contraception, including long-acting reversible contraception (LARCs), such as implants and IUDs, by training and coaching service providers. Health workers receive supportive supervision and on-the-job mentoring from their peers who are more skilled to provide quality care. Health workers are trained to:

• Safely remove and insert contraceptive implants
• Improve their communication skills
• Strengthen their knowledge on the prevention of infection during LARC procedures

This webinar will highlight the successes and challenges of on-site mentoring and training to broaden access to contraception in Niger.
