Neglected Tropical Diseases: Success Under Threat
May 24 @ 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm
Please join us for an official side event at the 78th World Health Assembly. The control and elimination of neglected tropical diseases has the potential to be one of the world’s greatest public health achievements, but this momentum is now under threat. In the face of emerging challenges, this event will bring together a diverse panel of leaders from the health sector to celebrate success and initiate a dialogue on the future of neglected tropical diseases. We will consider new and strategic ways forward with a focus on country-driven solutions and innovations in this rapidly evolving environment. The event will feature the Minister of Health of Tanzania.
Please note attendance at this event requires a badge to access the Palais des Nations. Lunch will be served.
