Knowledge Management for Effective Global Health Programs

Registration is now open to enroll in the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (JHSPH) Summer Institute course, “Knowledge Management for Effective Global Health Programs.”

This acclaimed 3-credit course taught by K4Health Director Tara Sullivan and USAID LEARN Chief of Party Piers Bocock, is offered through the JHSPH Summer Institute of Health, Behavior, and Society (HBS).

Course Description:

Knowledge management (KM), organizational learning (OL) and adaptive management in international development lead to better development programs.

Upon successful completion of this 3-credit course, students will be able to:

  • ​​Define knowledge management and related principles
  • Explain challenges to implementing KM programs
  • Help determine the best KM approaches for real-life public health programs

Students will also join a global network of alumni who share experiences and resources related to using the learned KM and OL practices in their work.

Course Dates: June 18-20, 2019
Location: East Baltimore – HBS Summer Institute
