From Astana to the G7 to the World Health Assembly, momentum is building around primary health care as a key driver to achieve universal health coverage. As we look ahead to September and the High-Level Meeting on UHC, we invite you to join experts from PATH and USAID for a dynamic lunch conversation to discuss how to accelerate progress toward people-centered primary health care.

People-centered primary health care puts people first in the design and delivery of comprehensive and essential preventive, promotive, and curative services. But how do we truly achieve it? Join us to hear from speakers about innovative and actionable ways to accelerate sustainable progress toward this goal. Discussion will focus on the following questions:

  • What will it take to reorient health systems to the needs of people and communities, instead of diseases?
  • What are tools and approaches for identifying the needs and preferences of people and communities?
  • What countries and communities can we learn from as “PHC exemplars”?
