Health Without Borders – Integrated Primary Healthcare for All

This in-person side event will take place in Geneva at the CSEM Networking Space during the 78th World Assembly, co-hosted by the Global Health Council together with partners including the Infectious Disease Alliance, Sightsavers, ASTMH, PATH, International Disability and Development Consortium, YHO and Amref Health Africa. It will focus on the importance of integrated primary healthcare (IPHC) in tackling key global health challenges such as HIV, TB, diabetes, and hypertension, highlighting policy integration, improved diagnosis and care frameworks, and cross-sector collaboration to strengthen universal health coverage (UHC). Discussions will emphasise the importance of policy and advocacy for cost-effective and sustainable IPHC solutions, and will include an emphasis on the importance of strengthening health equity and inclusion, ensuring access for marginalized populations, and fostering multisectoral collaboration among governments, international agencies, donors, and civil society.
