From Resolution to Action: Government Leadership on Lung Health

Hosted by the ministry of health of Malaysia and convened by Devex, and organized in collaboration with and funded by AstraZeneca, the Lung Health Forum will take place on the sidelines of the 79th World Health Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland, from 5 to 7:40 p.m. on Monday, May 18, at the InterContinental Genève, followed by a reception.

The forum will bring governments, NGOs, and patient advocates together at a critical, high-level moment to take stock of progress on the lung health resolution passed at last year’s WHA, and identify what still needs to be done to turn commitments into national action. The agenda will include panels focused on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, or COPD, and lung cancer, as well as a wider lens discussion on the importance of lung health equity to reach underserved populations.
