Equity in Global Health Partnerships: A Conversation

December 11 @ 8:30 am - 11:00 am

On Wednesday, December 11th, Science for Prosperity, Global Health Council, and Results for Development will host a dynamic conversation, both in-person and virtually, about how to achieve equity in global health partnerships. Members of a diverse global consensus study working group will share recommendations from the recently published consensus report, ”Enacting an Ethic of Care and Responsibility in Global Health Partnerships.

Produced by the Uganda National Academy of Sciences (UNAS) without backing or influence from any major development partner, the study calls for change in the way actors across the globe conduct ourselves within global health partnerships. It offers practical ideas for the many well-intentioned participants in global health partnerships around the world who want to contribute to change.

The study has been discussed at events in Dublin and Kampala. This DC event offers an opportunity to engage influential global development actors in the US and globally.
