Digital Pathways to Strengthen & Sustain the Global Health Workforce

On behalf of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS), NHS Health Education England, and International Association of National Public Health Institutes (IANPHI), we are pleased to invite you to attend our Official Side Event at the 78th World Health Assembly (WHA78): Digital Pathways to Strengthen & Sustain the Global Health Workforce, 19:30-20:50, 21 May 2025, Palais des Nations.

In a time of unprecedented pressure on global health systems, this side event will explore how digital tools can sustainably transform the recruitment, training, retention, credentialing, and deployment of health professionals. With insights from health authorities, international organizations, and professional associations, the event will highlight how regulatory innovation, credentialing, AI-driven workforce planning, competency-based digital learning, and support for health worker wellbeing can collectively build resilient health systems.
