Can Economics Help Solve the Climate Crisis and Achieve Health for All? A Dialogue with Civil Society in the Lead-Up to COP27

October 13, 2022

RSVP

Please join WHO’s Council on the Economics of Health for All, in partnership with Global Health Council (GHC) for dialogue between climate and health experts and civil society advocates on how new economic thinking can guide how governments, international institutions, and CSOs tackle the climate crisis and achieve health for all.

The dialogue’s objective is two-fold: 1) bring together world experts in climate and health to talk about much-needed changes in economic and other structures which the world urgently needs to tackle the multiple crises we are facing, and 2) have a discussion with CSOs about their perspective on the economic dimension of the intersection between climate and health, which will be particularly relevant for the Council as it prepares for its implementation year and final report.
