The twentieth COVID-19 Conversations webinar will provide an update on the current state of COVID-19 globally, focusing specifically on Brazil, India and South Africa, and will also review lessons we can learn from previous global vaccination campaigns in ensuring that all countries have adequate supplies of COVID-19 vaccines.
The webinar will begin with an introduction from the session’s moderator, Helene Gayle, The Chicago Community Trust, and then feature a conversation with a panel of experts, including:
- Beatriz Grinsztejn, Evandro Chagas National Institute of Infectious Diseases-Oswaldo Cruz Foundation
- Gagandeep ‘Cherry’ Kang, Christian Medical College
- Salim Abdool Karim, Centre for the AIDS Programme of Research in South Africa (CAPRISA) and Columbia University
- William Foege, Rollins School of Public Health, Emory University
The panel discussion will be followed by a Q&A session with the webinar audience.
This webinar has been approved for 1.5 continuing education credits for CPH, CME, CNE or CHES. Several days after attending the webinar, participants will receive an email with info on how to complete the online evaluation and claim their credits.
