IAS Educational Fund
The International AIDS Society (IAS) is proud to announce the launch of the IAS Educational Fund, a mechanism aimed to provide and invest in educational opportunities that support the frontline HIV workforce. The new scholarships will enable individuals to attend AIDS 2016, and are available to HIV clinicians, service providers, and advocates. Apply between April 20 and May 11.

AIDF Asia Summit 2016
The AIDF Asia Summit 2016 will take place from June 21 – 22 at the United Nations Conference Center in Bangkok, Thailand. Gathering over 250 experts from civil society, UN agencies, governments, investors and the private sector, the Summit will focus on improving health resilience in South East Asia through collaboration and technological innovations. Current health threats, regional health programs and vaccinations, testing, and monitoring will be among the topics for discussion. Register to take part in these engaging conversations with a variety of stakeholders, including GHC members Save the Children and World Vision.

High Level Meeting on HIV/AIDS
In early June, UN Member States will review the progress achieved in realizing the Declaration of Commitment on HIV/AIDS and adopt a new Political Declaration at a High Level Meeting on HIV/AIDS in New York. As Member States are starting their negotiations on the zero draft of the Political Declaration, a civil society hearing was organized on April 6 to provide civil society with an opportunity to discuss challenges and opportunities in the AIDS response, to demonstrate the strength, diversity and commitment of civil society, and to highlight the special challenges faced by civil society and other stakeholders in the field.
