Policy Paper: At the Midpoint of the Decade of Vaccines
In November 2015, GHC member PATH published a Policy Paper: At the Midpoint of the Decade of Vaccines, as a result of the world being off track in meeting the Global Vaccine Action Plan goals. In the report, PATH lays out recommendations for catalyzing U.S. government leadership and maximizing impact in global immunization.

I Will Give
CHESTRAD recently completed a pilot of a domestic financing platform for social development – I Will Give (IWG). IWG aims to expand the resource envelope for financing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by way of crowdfunding, community giving, and creating shared value.

Advocates hosted a meeting, “Filling the Gaps: Strengthening WASH Advocacy for 2016 and Beyond,” in North Carolina in October 2015. Outcomes from the meeting include: a final report, the full presentation, the 2015 WASH Global Advocacy Landscape, and meeting recording.

New Route to getting Certified in Public Health (CPH)
The board of directors of the National Board of Public Health Examiners (NBPHE) just approved a new route to Certified in Public Health (CPH) eligibility. Public health professionals who have at least a Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of public health experience are now eligible to take the CPH exam. Read the full announcement.
