The Global Financing Facility (GFF) is an innovative country-led financing model that brings together diverse sources of financing in a harmonized and coordinated way to support national priorities for women, children and adolescents. Since 2015, 16 eligible countries have benefited from this financing mechanism. In November 2017, the GFF announced that 10 more countries will join the 16 existing countries, bringing the total to 26.

The GFF Civil Society Coordinating Group, hosted by PMNCH, hosts periodic webinars to provide updates for civil society partners interested or engaged in the GFF, answer key questions, solicit feedback from civil society, and provide an opportunity for cross-learning.

This webinar, co-hosted by White Ribbon Alliance as a member of the CS Coordinating Group, will provide an overview of the recent GFF Investors Group meeting, as well as key points raised by the CSO Representatives to the Investors Group at the meeting. It will also provide an update from the CS Coordinating Group, including about the upcoming Small Grants Mechanism for civil society, and CS working groups on accountability, and capacity building/country engagement. Finally, the webinar will include a country CSO update from Kenya about key lessons and experiences to-date in GFF engagement.

On the day of the webinar, please join the meeting from your computer, tablet or smartphone.
