MORE INFORMATION & REGISTRATION DETAILS

Does your M&E strategy take advantage of USAID’s Performance Management Plan (PMP), or align with the objectives of the Foreign Aid Transparency and Accountability Act of 2016? Are you looking for new M&E ideas and strategies to improve the effectiveness of programs? Have you ever noticed that USAID and Implementing Partners often have different meanings for the same words in M&E, thereby complicating communication?

Join Jennifer Winestock Luna and Dr. Elvira Beracochea of Realizing Global Health for this one-day workshop designed for contractors, consultants, and USG staff working in Global Health. They will present a vision for Monitoring and Evaluation where global health professionals will be able to use M&E to explain and improve effectiveness of programs; have a shared understanding between donors and implementers about appropriate M&E; and ensure that individuals, families, and communities are at the center of M&E efforts.

The agenda for the day will include:
 .
  • Exploring new opportunities for using M&E to explain and improve effectiveness of programs
  • Strengthening a shared understanding between donors and implementers about appropriate M&E
  • Identifying ways to ensure that individuals, families, and communities are at the center of M&E
  • Reviewing the strengths and weaknesses of USAID’s Program Management Plan (PMP) process
  • Identifying the best use of different sources of information, taking into consideration strengths and weaknesses of each source
  • Highlighting opportunities provided by key elements of the “Foreign Aid Transparency and Accountability Act of 2016”
