Organized by NCD Alliance, Union for International Cancer Control, World Heart Federation & Partners
On the eve of the 71st World Health Assembly, the World Health Organization (WHO) will stage “Walk the Talk: The Health for All Challenge” event on Sunday 20 May. Families and friends are invited to participate in this first-ever event, which will be both a celebration of health and the Organization’s 70th birthday in 2018. It will be a free and inclusive event that will connect international and local Geneva, and be open to families and teams of colleagues to participate in many ways, including walking, jogging, running, dancing and using wheelchairs.
The event will be held over three connected routes approximately 3 kilometres, 5 kilometres and 8 kilometres in length, starting and ending at Place des Nations, and linking WHO, Jardin Botanique, Villa Barton on the lake foreshore and Bains des Pâquis.
