Organized by Touch Foundation and Vodafone Foundation
Touch Foundation and Vodafone Foundation invite you to a dynamic discussion of solutions to dramatically improve access to maternal and newborn emergency care around the world. At this event, we’ll discuss the opportunities for prioritizing and investing in evidence-based cost-effective interventions that improve the health of women and newborns and promote economic development, creating more prosperous societies. In particular, we’ll share our findings from an emergency transport system that has significantly decreased maternal mortality in two rural districts in Tanzania.
Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals depend on collaboration and meaningful partnership between governments, corporations, donors, nongovernmental agencies, and civil society as well as sharing knowledge on new innovations and insights. We welcome you to contribute to this important dialogue.
