On behalf of Raj Kumar, President & Editor-in-Chief of Devex and Mary-Ann Etiebet, Executive Director of MSD for Mothers, we would like to invite you to join a select group of global leaders for a high-level interactive discussion on Tuesday, September 25, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. The event – co-hosted by the Global Financing Facility and USAID – will aim to highlight various innovative financing models and help foster deeper government and private investor participation in funding health and nutrition needs of people around the world.
Others in attendance include leaders from health, government, the private sector, donors, and INGOs, including organizations such as the World Bank, Access to Medicine Foundation, IFRC, Convergence Blended Finance, GE Foundation, CDC, UNICEF, Mastercard, Save the Children, Instiglio, IFC, and UNFPA.

The session will include a panel of leaders from the donor community, developing countries, and the private sector, who will share their experiences with different funding models – their advantages and challenges, barriers to mobilizing private capital at scale for health and possible solutions for the way forward. The panel will be followed by an open discussion for all participants that will include representatives from governments, funding organizations, the private sector, and leading implementers.
