GHC Member Population Reference Bureau (PRB) has developed a video-based toolkit entitled, “Communicating Research through Data Visualization“. PRB is a core partner on the Population Council’s Evidence to End FGM/C: Research to Help Girls and Women Thrive. This project is a UK Aid (UKAID)-funded research program to help end female genital mutilation/cutting (FGM/C) within one generation. The series offers an introduction to data visualizations to help researchers better communicate FGM/C findings to key policy and program audiences, and covers strategies on effective data presentation, basic design concepts, and tools that can help improve workflow.
The “Communicating Research through Data Visualization” series includes the following:
1) Part One — What is Data Visualization?
2) Part Two — Why use Data Visualizations?
3) Part Three — Conceptualizing Your Data Visualization
4) Part Four — Design Tips
5) Part Five — Tools and Workflow
